Where Songs Stop Being Drafts

We all have that folder. The one full of voice memos, half-finished demos, and ideas that never quite made it past the 'draft' stage. Maybe it's a song you've been playing in your living room for months, or a tune your band jams on but has never properly recorded.

That's exactly why I started offering outdoor recording sessions in Berlin, close to Volkspark Lichtenrade.

The idea is simple: bring your music somewhere it can breathe. No sterile studio walls, no red recording light anxiety. Just you, your instrument, and the open air.

These are performance-first sessions. That means the goal isn't perfection. The goal is to capture something real. A version of your song that lives and moves the way it does when you play it for yourself or for friends.

Here's how it works: we meet at a quiet outdoor spot near Volkspark Lichtenrade. I bring a lightweight but high-quality recording setup. You bring your instrument and your music. We spend about 3 hours together, working through your material at your own pace.

I guide the session, helping you find the right energy for each take, offering arrangement suggestions if you want them, and making sure the recordings sound great. Afterwards, you'll receive your mixed and mastered tracks.

These sessions are ideal for singer-songwriters who want to capture acoustic versions of their songs, solo instrumentalists looking for quality recordings without the pressure of a studio, duos or small groups who want to record together in a relaxed setting, and anyone who just wants to finally get those drafts out of the voice memo folder.

I'm currently offering pilot sessions at a reduced rate while I refine the format. If you're curious, get in touch and let's find a time that works.

Because some songs just need a little fresh air to finally feel finished.
